Zusammenfassung:	The present invention provides an absorbent article (1) comprising a front sheet (2), a back sheet (3) and an absorber (4) disposed between the two sheets, and has a longitudinal direction (X) and a transverse direction (Y). The absorber (4) includes, as structural members, absorptive sheets (401), (402) including a fiber material. The absorbent body (4) has a laminated structure including, at least in the central portion of the absorbent body (4) in the transverse direction Y, a front-side absorbent sheet (41) located on the skin-facing surface side, a back-side absorbent sheet (42) located on the non-skin-facing surface side, and a central absorbent portion (43) located between the two sheets. The central absorbent portion (43) has, in the thickness direction thereof, a first region (E) and a second region (F) in which the density of the fiber material is higher than that of the first region (E), and an antimicrobial agent (8) is disposed in the second region (F).
