Zusammenfassung:A solar cell and an operation method thereof are provide. The solar cell includes a silicon substrate, a front electrode, a charge storage layer, a passivation layer, a back electrode, and a voltage-applying electrode. The front electrode is disposed on the front surface of the silicon substrate, the charge storage layer is disposed on the back surface of the silicon substrate and exposing a portion of the silicon substrate, and the passivation layer is disposed between the charge storage layer and the back surface of the silicon substrate to expose the portion of the silicon substrate. The back electrode is disposed on the exposed portion of the silicon substrate, and it is in contact with the back surface of the silicon substrate. The voltage-applying electrode is disposed on the charge storage layer, and it is not in contact with the back electrode.
