Portable electronic device

A portable electronic device includes a first body, a second body, a pivot member and a protective member. The pivot member is pivoted to the first body and the second body, and includes a shaft. The first body is pivoted relative to the second body via the shaft. The protective member slides around the first body and the second body and includes at least one guide structure and at least one sliding structure. During the movement of the first body from a lock position to an open position, the protective member slides to drive the guide structure and the sliding structure to slide along a circumference of the first body and the second body, and to drive the guide structure to be co-axially arranged with the shaft, so as to allow the protective member to pivot with the first body relative to the second body.
