A solid state polymerization method of nylon 66 includes providing a plurality of nylon 66 particles, processing a preheating step and processing a solid state polymerization step. The solid state polymerization step includes processing a raw material addition step, processing a heating polymerization step and processing a deoxygenating and drying step. In the solid state polymerization reaction, the nylon 66 is preheated and heated with a warm gas at a gas flow between 600 m3/hr to 1000 m3/hr so as to obtain the nylon 66 condensation polymers that the relative viscosity of the nylon 66 condensation polymers is 3.05 to 3.26, and the polydispersity index of the nylon 66 condensation polymers is 1.95 to 2.15. This invention also provides a solid state polymerization system which is applied in the solid state polymerization method so as to process the solid polymerization of nylon 66.
