Process and system for generation of pulse signals at particular positions of a movable element. The generating device (1) comprises a unit (4) for generating triggering positions, a unit (5) for generating, in the course of the displacement of the movable element, real positions of said movable element, this unit (5) comprising a unit (6) for measuring successive effective positions of the movable element, the real positions comprising at least these measured effective positions, a unit (8) for comparing, for a current triggering position, successive real positions at this current triggering position so as to be able to identify, among these successive real positions, the real position closest to said current triggering position, and doing so within a given limit, and a unit (10) for generating a pulse signal for the current triggering position, if and when the movable element reaches said closest real position and this position is situated within the given limit.
