Three-dimensional positioning system and method thereof

A system and method for three-dimensional positioning is provided, which is adapted for an object tracking of virtual reality. The three-dimensional positioning method comprises: tracking features of a light-emitting element of at least one controller; using the features to calculate relative displacement information between the controller and a head-mount display; sensing a first displacement information of the head-mount display and a second displacement information of the controller; transmitting the relative displacement information, the first displacement information and the second displacement information to a host respectively; and the host adjusts a related virtual image of the virtual reality according to the relative displacement information, the first displacement information, and the second displacement information and transmits the related virtual image to the head-mount display to display.
