An objective of the present invention is to provide an aromatic polycarbonate oligomer solid body having a remarkably reduced low molecular weight component, having no chlorine-containing compounds or remarkably reduced chlorine-containing compounds, having large loose bulk density and being easy to handle. The aforementioned objective can be solved by an aromatic polycarbonate oligomer solid body comprising a repeating unit represented by the following general formula (1) and a repeating unit represented by the following general formula (2), which have a weight average molecular weight of 500 to 10,000, a low molecular weight component of 5.0 area% or less as measured by high performance liquid chromatography, a loose bulk density of 0.25 g/cm3 or more.
