Zusammenfassung:	This underpants-form absorbent article comprises an absorbent main body (10) and a pair of belt parts (20) which are transversally stretchable. A pair of joint parts (2, 3) at which the absorbent main body (10) and the pair of belt parts (20) are joined are provided on the front side and the rear side. The joint parts (2, 3) are inclined transversally outward from the side with the waist opening part to the side with the leg opening part. The longitudinal ends of the absorbent main body (10) constitute portions of the waist opening part and do not stretch transversally. The transversal length of the ends of the absorbent main body (10) being represented by L, cut lines (50) having a predetermined vertical length are provided within areas extending from the joint parts (2, 3) to positions parallel to, and separated transversally outward by L from, the joint parts (2, 3).
