Zusammenfassung: | Provided are a practically useful organic EL element having high efficiency and high drive stability, and a compound for an organic electroluminescence element that is suitable for said organic EL element. This compound for an organic electroluminescence element is represented by general formula (1), the compound having a backbone structure in which an aromatic hydrocarbon group and an aromatic heterocycle group are linked, and having a structure in which the molecular weight of the backbone structure excluding substituents is 500 to 1500 and the number of steric conformations produced by conformation searching calculation of the backbone structure is 9 to 200,000. In the formula, HetAr is a C3-24 aromatic heterocycle group such as an indolocarbazole group, Ar0 is an aromatic hydrocarbon group, an aromatic heterocycle group, or a linked aromatic group formed by these aromatic groups being linked, and z is 2 to 5. |
