The present invention provides a primer and probe set for detecting Zika virus, comprising a forward primer of SEQ ID NO: 1, a reverse primer of SEQ ID NO: 2, and a probe of SEQ ID NO: 3. Also provided is a kit for detecting Zika virus, comprising a primer and probe set of the present invention.
