Zusammenfassung:	The purpose of the present invention is to provide a method for culturing darbepoetin-producing cells and thereby producing a darbepoetin composition, wherein the method increases the total amount of the darbepoetin composition produced and increases the sialic acid content of each darbepoetin molecule excreted into a culture solution by the cells. The present invention relates to a production method for a darbepoetin composition. The production method includes: a first step for culturing darbepoetin-producing cells in a culture medium to which a plant-derived protein hydrolysate has been added and obtaining a culture solution; and a second step for collecting the darbepoetin composition from the culture solution obtained in step 1.
