Method for molding molten glass, molding apparatus, and method for producing glass articles

Provided is a method for molding molten glass capable of easily improving the molding accuracy of molten glass. One embodiment of the method for molding molten glass of the present invention includes a supply step in which molten glass having a temperature at or above the softening point is discharged in a belt shape and supplied to on top of the surface of a molten metal and a transport step for transporting the glass ribbon supplied on top of the surface of the molten metal. The transport step includes a cooling step for cooling the transported glass ribbon so that the temperature of the glass ribbon in the entire widthwise direction becomes lower than the softening point in a zone on the upstream side in the transport direction.
