Zusammenfassung:	An object of the present invention is to provide a method of eluting Ca from a steelmaking slag which can elute a large amount of Ca from the steelmaking slag into an aqueous solution containing carbon dioxide. The present invention performs the following steps in this order: a step of subjecting the steelmaking slag to magnetic selection to remove a compound containing iron from the steelmaking slag and a step of bringing the magnetic steel slag subjected to the magnetic selection into contact with an aqueous solution containing carbon dioxide. Further, while crushing the steelmaking slag or grinding the surface of the steelmaking slag, the aqueous solution containing carbon dioxide and the steelmaking slag are brought into contact with each other.
