Zusammenfassung:	The present invention comprises: a washing machine main body; a water tank that is supported inside the washing machine main body and that has a drain port in a bottom part thereof; and a heater unit that is disposed below the water tank and that communicates with an inner bottom part of the water tank (13). The heater unit comprises: a heater accommodation container in which a heater that heats washing water is accommodated; a heater that is inserted into the heater accommodation container from an opening of the heater accommodation container, and that heats washing water; and a temperature detection unit that measures the water temperature within the heater accommodation container. The water temperature within the water tank is estimated from the water temperature within the heater accommodation container that is measured by the temperature detection unit after a certain amount of time has elapsed from turning OFF the heater.
