A multi-band compression circuit includes a plurality of first stage filters, a plurality of multi-band limiters, and a plurality of second stage filters. The first stage filters are configured to receive and filter an input signal to output a plurality of first split-band signals. The multi-band limiters are coupled to the first stage filters respectively, and configured to perform compression to the first split-band signals to output a plurality of second split-band signals. The second stage filters are coupled to the multi-band limiters respectively, and configured to filter corresponding second split-band signals to output a plurality of output signals. The first stage filter and the second stage filter corresponding to the same multi-band limiter have different cut-off frequencies respectively.
