Electronic device and touch method

The present invention provides an electronic device. The electronic device includes a display screen for displaying one or more application programs or files; a touch sensor for receiving an input operation and detecting a touch mode of the input operation, wherein the operation mode includes instruction parameters of the input operation or a combination of the instruction parameters, the instruction parameters includes one or more of textural characteristics, intensity characteristics, and region characteristics; and a processor for receiving the operation mode detected by the touch sensor, and activating an application program or a file corresponding to a preset operation mode when the received operation mode matches with the preset operation mode. By utilizing the present invention, a user can access the application or file conveniently. The present invention further provides a touch method.
