Zusammenfassung:	A beam generator of a circular accelerator of this invention includes an ion source, a drawing electrode for drawing charged particles out of the ion source, a chopper electrode provided at the downstream side of the drawing electrode and consisting of a pair of electrodes opposing to each other with a trajectory of the charged particles interposed therebetween, and a slit member provided at the downstream side of the chopper electrode and allowing the charged particles to pass therethrough, wherein the beam generator is configured to change the trajectory of the charged particles by changing a voltage applied between the pair of electrodes of the chopper electrode, and control the charged particle to pass or not pass the slit by the changing of the trajectory.
