Damper device

Provided is a damper device configured so that it is unlikely that space for the pivoting of blade plates will be affected by the area of opening of the damper device, and the blade plates can operate even in small space. This damper device is provided with: a drive source; a plurality of blade plates; a frame body for supporting the blade plates so that the blade plates can pivot; and a power transmission mechanism for converting the drive power of the drive source into the pivotal movement of the blade plates. The frame body has a pair of openings which serve as a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet. The damper device is characterized in that, when a hollow section in the frame body, the hollow section being in communication with the pair of openings, is defined as a flow passage in the frame body, the plurality of blade plates are arranged within the flow passage along the first opening, which is one of the openings, so as to be parallel to each other.
