An assisting method for taking pictures and an electronic device

The present application provides an assisting method for taking pictures. The assisting method applies to an electronic device which includes a photo device. The assisting method receives a shooting location of taking a picture and a pose of taking the picture, from a predetermined location. The assisting method gets a location of the electronic device and a pose of the electronic device, and calculates a relative movement between the received shooting location and the location of the electronic device, and calculates a relative rotation between the received pose and the pose of the electronic device. The assisting method also navigates the user of the electronic device in a default manner to move and rotate the electronic device according to the relative movement and the relative rotation. When the relative movement and the relative rotation are zero, prompt the user to take a photo in a default manner.
