Zusammenfassung:	Provided is a horizontal shade with which it is possible to increase the opening ratio thereof. According to the present invention, there is provided a horizontal shade configured so that a plurality of slats are turnably supported by a slat support cord hanging down from a head box, and a bottom rail is supported in a raisable and lowerable manner by a raising/lowering tape hanging down from the head box, wherein the raising/lowering tape is arranged so that the main surface of the raising/lowering tape is substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the slats in at least part of the tape between the head box and the bottom rail.
