Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a brush roller for a nozzle, having a brush body and a plurality of bristle bundles extending outwardly from the brush body for cleaning the floor, wherein at least one bristle bundle has an indicative wire with a core wire and a wear-resistant layer; the wear-resistant layer covers at least partially the core wire (20) and is designed such that as the brush roller is used continuously, the wear-resistant layer changes color and/or intensity of color to indicate the wear and tear of the brush roller.
