Zusammenfassung:The present invention addresses the problem of providing a sprinkler head that has strength, durability or thermal conductivity and has been made lighter. A sprinkler head, which is provided with a main body inside which a nozzle for passing fire-extinguishing water is formed, a valve for closing the outlet of the nozzle, and a heat-sensitive decomposing section secured to the main body for holding the valve on the outlet of the nozzle and in which the heat-sensitive decomposing section comprises a low melting point alloy that melts due to the heat of a fire. In the sprinkler head, a material comprising carbon nanotubes is used for a constituent part of the heat-sensitive decomposing section. As a result, it is possible to configure a part that is lighter than prior metal parts and for which strength and thermal conductivity performance have been improved over prior resins.
