Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a protective film, a polarizing plate, and a display device; the protective film comprising a first polyester layer and a second polyester layer, having an in-plane retardation of 300 nm or less and a thickness direction retardation of 2,400 nm or less, showing improved thermal resistance, hydrolysis resistance, and optical properties, without rainbow-like irregular appearance. The protective film thus can be effectively employed for a polarizing plate.
