Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a thermofusible textile fabric that has anisotropic properties, can be used especially as a fusible interlining in the textile industry, and comprises a backing layer which is made of a fiber web or a nonwoven material and onto which an adhesive compound that can be thermally softened and a bonding agent are applied. The fibers of the backing layer are anisotropically oriented in at least some areas such that a preferred direction is obtained. The bonding agent and/or the adhesive compound is/are distributed in a regular and/or irregular pattern in such a way that there is a greater amount of bonding agent and/or adhesive compound in the preferred direction of the fibers than transversely to the preferred direction.
