Zusammenfassung:	The invention refers to a sampler for molten metal, in particular for molten iron and molten cast iron, comprising a sample chamber having a sample chamber opening and further comprising a mixing chamber having an outer inlet opening, whereby the sample chamber opening is arranged between the mixing chamber and the sample chamber, and is characterized in that a graphite promoter and a carbide stabilizing material selected from one or more of the group consisting of tellurium, bismuth, selenium and cerium are arranged in the mixing chamber.
