Zusammenfassung:	A bonding method involving disposing a liquid polymerizable composition between a base part having an image display part and a translucent member, wherein loss of the liquid polymerizable composition is suppressed. The bonding method involves disposing the liquid polymerizable composition (4) between the base part (2) having the image display part and the translucent member (3), bonding said base part and translucent member. The bonding method has a step in which a photocurable and/or a thermosetting liquid loss inhibitor (5) is bonded to the outer periphery of the base part (2) having the image display part or the translucent member (3). The liquid loss inhibitor (5) has an area spreading characteristic value, which is defined by the value of the area 30 seconds after bonding, of 103 to 150, when the area immediately after being bonded to the base part (2) having the image display part or the translucent member (3) is deemed to be 100.
