Zusammenfassung:	A method for measuring low oil quantity and a oil coating method using the same are provided. In the method for measuring oil quantity, at first, a sample workpiece on which oil is coated and a plurality of measured oil quantity values are provided. Then, a reflection absorption infrared detector is used to scan the sample workpiece to obtain a plurality of first coating weight detection signals. Thereafter, an oil quantity function is calculated in accordance with the first coating weight detection signals and the measured oil quantity values. Then, the reflection absorption infrared detector is used to scan an online workpiece to obtain a second coating weight detection signal. Thereafter, an oil quantity value is calculated in accordance with the second coating weight detection signal and the oil quantity function.
