Zusammenfassung:	A touch panel includes a substrate and a first electrode matrix. The first electrode matrix is disposed on the substrate and includes a first touch area and a second touch area. The first electrode matrix further includes a first electrode, a second electrode, a third electrode, and a fourth electrode. The first electrode is disposed on the first touch area. The second electrode is disposed on the first touch area, and the second electrode is disposed corresponding to the first electrode. The third electrode is disposed on the second touch area. The fourth electrode is disposed on the second touch area, and the fourth electrode is disposed corresponding to the third electrode. In addition, the first electrode to the fourth electrode are all disposed on the same layer. The first electrode is interlaced with the fourth electrode, and the first electrode is electrically coupled to the fourth electrode. Furthermore, a method for controlling the touch panel is also disclosed herein.
