Zusammenfassung:Provided herein is a solar cell with an active layer having nanoparticles therein, which diffuses the solar beams to enhance the photo-electric conversion efficiency without using any anti-reflection layer. The solar cell comprises an active layer comprising an n-type semiconductor layer and a p-type semiconductor layer, and a cathode electrode and an anode formed on the n-type semiconductor layer and the p-type semiconductor layer, respectively. The n-type semiconductor layer comprises CdO-ZnO nanoparticles doped with at least one Group III element and the p-type semiconductor layer comprises CdO-ZnO nanoparticles doped with at least one Group I or Group V element.
