Provided is a touch panel capable of preventing erroneous touch, which includes a plurality of regions. The plurality of regions are provided with different thresholds, respectively. When an object touches one region of the plurality of regions, the threshold of the said region is compared with a sensing area value generated by the object on the touch panel. Based on the comparison result, it is determined whether there is an erroneous touch. The positions and sizes of the plurality of regions can be adjusted according to the user's requirement so as to achieve the purpose of alleviating the possibilities of generating erroneous touches.
