Zusammenfassung:	A paper feeding mechanism includes a paper cassette, a biasing arm located above the paper cassette, and a belt pulley located at an end of the biasing arm. The belt pulley includes a driving wheel and a belt surrounding the driving wheel. The belt pulley is moved by the biasing arm until the belt resists on a paper stack stored in the paper cassette. The belt is rotated by the driving wheel and exerts a frictional force to a paper sheet in the paper stack thereby feeding the paper sheet from the paper cassette.
