Method for multilingual retrieval and system using the same

A method for multilingual retrieval applies for an Internet search system. Firstly, entering a search query in a first language, then identifying language class of the search query and sending the search query to a vocabulary database according to the language class. Then, searching the search query in different language classes of the vocabulary database, if the search query can be found, obtaining a plurality of language queries in other languages classes; otherwise, translating the search query from the first language into other languages by a plurality of translation engine and sending a feedback information that includes search query and language query back to the vocabulary database. After obtaining the language queries, searching with the language queries in a plurality of searching engine according to the language classes.
