Zusammenfassung:	The frame element is provided as a separate component or as an integrated part in the lower region of the bicycle frame. Typically, the frame element is used as a stabilization element by establishing the connection between the lower tube and the saddle tube. However, it is also possible that both tubes on the frame element are connected to each other. The tubes are connected individually or jointly to a plate-shaped component of the frame element that is curved at certain spots. The invention is characterized in that the frame element comprises a crest or a ridge on the plate-shaped curved component, which crest or ridge extends essentially over the entire length of the component. The crest is positioned on the plate-shaped component in a centered manner.
