| Zusammenfassung: | The invention relates to a method for determining a touch-and-hold touch event on a touch sensitive interaction surface of a touch sensing device comprising the steps of: (a) determining a touch location of the touch event based on a sensed acoustic signal and (b) determining whether the touch event comprises a hold touch event based on an integrated acoustic signal. By integrating the acoustic signal it thus becomes possible to decide whether a touch or a touch-and-hold touch event occurred on the interaction surface using the same kind of signal used to determine the location of the impact at the beginning of the touch event. The invention furthermore relates to a device configured to carry out the inventive method. |
