Remote controller and associated control method

A remote controller and associated control method for control mode switching are provided. The remote controller provides different operation modes for a controlled device. The remote controller includes: a remote control body; a detecting module, placed on a side of the remote control body, for detecting a position information; a control module, electrically connected to the detecting module, for determining an operation mode corresponding to the controlled device based on the position information; and a communication interface, electrically connected to the control module and in connection with the controlled device, for transmitting a control signal to the controlled device, wherein the control signal is corresponding to the operation mode.
