Zusammenfassung:	The present invention provides a covering glass used in a display apparatus which is chemically strengthened and has the necessary impact resistance performance. A manufacturing method of a covering glass used in a display apparatus includes a glass sheet's shape processing step which processes the mother board of glass used in the display apparatus into a specified shape, a washing step of washing the glass sheet, and a chemical strengthening step carrying out the chemical strengthening towards the washed glass sheet; and the washing step is carried out in a such a manner to make the BOR strength of the glass sheet after the washing step and prior to the chemical strengthening step achieve 400N or above, so that the front end being rolling brushed is connected by propping up against the main surface of at least one side of the glass sheet, thereby washing the glass sheet.
