Zusammenfassung:A cable hoist is equipped with an emergency braking arrangement. The emergency braking arrangement comprises a toothed wheel assembly that is driven via the cable drum. One of the two toothed wheels is sensed by a sensing lever of an anchor. The other end of the anchor interacts with a ratchet wheel of the toothed wheel assembly. As soon as an overspeed occurs, the anchor engages in the ratchet wheel and causes a rotary movement of the carrier on which the anchor is seated. This rotary motion is used to trigger a mechanical braking arrangement, said braking arrangement being coupled with the cable drum.
