The device (10) has a pressure reducing valve (14) with a valve piston (26), where working pressure acts on a working pressure surface of the valve piston against force of a valve spring (29), and input pressure acts on a sealing surface (28) of the valve piston toward the force. A working pressure chamber (17) is connected with a ventilation device of a pressure connecting device (12) such that the working pressure acts on a ventilation piston (44) of the ventilation device, where the ventilation piston is held in a closing position by a connecting piece (21) of an input pressure source. An independent claim is also included for a compressed air distributor comprising a pressure reducing device.
