The invention discloses a visual effect display method and an electronic apparatus. The visual effect display method, which is used to display visual effect during the switching interval between different frame states, includes steps of: (a) providing a database, which includes object models and visual effect templates; (b) providing a state lookup table, which indicates the corresponding relationship between the frame states and the object models, and also the corresponding relationship between the frame states and the visual effect templates during the switching interval of the frame states; (c) generating a visual effect data, by a transform software according to the database and the state lookup table; and (d) when it is switched from one of the frame states to another of the frame states, displaying a corresponding visual effect according to the visual effect data.
