Device for measuring substrate transport speed of roll-to-roll device and method thereof

This invention relates to a device for measuring substrate transport speed of roll-to-roll device and a method thereof. The device comprises an optical sensing module, a processing module and a monitoring module. The method comprises: first, using the optical sensing module to detect a variation of a substrate; obtaining a relative displacement signal according to the variation; converting the relative displacement signal into a relative orthogonal pulse signal, which is transmitted to the processing module to perform operational analysis and then transmitted to the monitor interface to perform statistical analysis; and finally obtaining a substrate transport speed. The device of this invention uses an optical sensing module to detect a movement variation of a substrate. The optical sensing module of this invention is of low costs and effectively reduces the overall costs.
