Zusammenfassung:	To provide a mobile cleaner which is capable of carrying an operator and running nimbly and has a small turning circle. A mobile cleaner which carries an operator and is run by the operator to sweep road surfaces, comprising a sweeper unit (S) and a drive unit (D). The sweeper unit (S) comprises two rotating brushes (5A and 5B) and a pair of driven wheels (3A). The drive unit (D) comprises a frame with a driving source and a steering mechanism, a driver's seat (8) which is mounted on the frame, and a driving wheel (2) which is fitted under the frame and whose direction can be changed to steer the mobile cleaner. The driving wheel (2) has a built-in large-torque motor and is disposed directly under the driver's seat (8). Because the driving wheel (2) bears the weight of the driver, the friction between the driving wheel (2) and road surfaces is large and the load on the driven wheels (3A) is small. Thus, the mobile cleaner can be run at a constant speed to sweep road surfaces without fail.
