Zusammenfassung:	According to a glossing agent for manual application of present invention, gloss can be applied to a surface simply by manual wiping the surface without physical scouring or using a special treatment apparatus, the obtained gloss can be maintained over a long period of time and exhibits good durability. The glossing agent for manual application has (A) aqueous carbodiimide, (B) an aqueous liquid organic compound and (C) water or a solvent mixture of water and hydrophilic organic solvent, the mass ratio [(A) : (B)] of the content of a component (A) and a component (B) is in the range of 8:92 to 92:8.
