Zusammenfassung:	On a coupling with a supporting body (1), a fixing element (2) for fastening a free end (3) of a pipe (4) on the supporting body (1), a clamping element (5) located between the fixing element (2) and the supporting body (1) that can be moved axially relative to the fixing element (2) towards the free end (7) thereof, as a result of which movement a radially inward-facing wall area (8) of the clamping element (5) can be pressed against the outer side (9) of the pipe (4), and a claw element (6) located within the fixing element, the radially inward-facing side of which displays at least one claw (10) for engaging or pressing against the outer side (9) of the pipe (4), it is envisaged that the claw element (6) be connected to the clamping element (5) in such a way that no, or only negligible, radial force can be exerted on the claw (10) of the claw element (6) in the event of radially inward movement of the inward-facing wall area (8) of the clamping element (5).
