Zusammenfassung:	Oxygen-scavenging polyester compositions are disclosed that include residues of one or more unsaturated diols, for example, 2-butene-1,4-diol, and residues of one or more aliphatic dicarboxylic acids, for example adipic acid. The compositions may be used as concentrates, and may be blended, for example, with one or more polyethylene terephthalate homopolymers or copolymers, to obtain compositions suitable for use in packaging, providing oxygen-scavenging effect.
