Single-word memorizing system and method

This invention provides a single-word memorizing system and method applicable to an electronic apparatus equipped with a single-word database, the electronic apparatus including an input module, a display module and a memory module, the method including the steps of: storing a plurality of memorizing rules and corresponding data retrieving processing programs in the memory unit; setting memorizing rules to be executed via the input module; retrieving a corresponding data retrieving processing program from the memory module according to the memorizing rules inputted via the input module; and executing the data retrieving processing program to retrieve corresponding single-word data from the database in the electronic apparatus and displaying the same via the display module, thereby providing a character learning mode and increasing the learning efficiency.
