Image sensor

An image sensor is provided. It consists of light source, lens, substrate with image sensing components, and housing part, where the light source, lens and substrate are carried on the housing part. The housing part is made from composite material of engineering plastic added with 15% to 20% carbon fiber or uses the engineering plastic as major material of the housing part on which surface the electrical conduction layer is coated. There is ground line being installed between the substrate ground circuit and the housing part. As a result, the image sensor can effectively avoid static electricity to keep off the tiny particle absorption resulted in contamination of light sensing device that leads light sensing signal error. The electromagnetic shield effect is provided by electrical conductivity and grounded housing part, and hence the image sensor can meet EMC safety standard.
