Electronic vehicle rental management system

An electronic vehicle rental management system includes a bar code scanner; a vehicle rental terminal computer; a vehicle rental data server; a vehicle rental module; a vehicle pick-up module; a vehicle return module; a webpage vehicle appointment module; and an audio vehicle appointment module; wherein a customer is able to establish customer vehicle rental data using the webpage vehicle appointment module, audio vehicle appointment module or vehicle rental module, and store the customer vehicle rental data to the vehicle rental data server via a communication network. The vehicle rental data server will record the customer vehicle rental data and the vehicle rental module will print receipts containing barcodes for the customer to serve as the proof for picking up the vehicle. While the customer picks up the vehicle, which is verified by the vehicle pick-up module, a communication network would notify the vehicle rental data server to allow pick-up.
