Zusammenfassung:	To allow a signal output device for a bicycle that outputs rotation signals in accordance with the rotation of a rotating part of the bicycle to be configured compactly and operate without power conversion. A rotation rate sensor 10, which is a sensor that outputs rotation signals in accordance with the rotation of a front wheel of the bicycle, comprises at least one magnet 11, a coil 12, a signal-generating portion 14, and a wireless-transmission portion 15. The magnet 11 is mounted on a front wheel of the bicycle. The coil 12 can be provided in a position opposing the magnet of the bicycle. The signal-generating portion 14 can operate with the electric power generated by the coil 12 under the rotation of the magnet 11 and generates rotation signals in accordance with the rotation of the wheel. The wireless-transmission portion 15 can wirelessly transmit the generated rotation signals.
