Zusammenfassung:A system for manipulation of a small object comprises a carrier to transport the small object to a substrate to receive the small object. A fluid droplet which couples the small object detachably to the carrier and/or to the substrate. The coupling of the small object to the fluid droplet relative to the coupling of the fluid droplet to the substrate is electrically controlled on the basis of the electrowetting effect.
