Tape carrier type semiconductor device and method of producing the same

The present invention discloses a tape carrier type semiconductor device which comprises: a long flexible insulative tape carrier; and, a plurality of semiconductor devices sequentially arranged on one surface of the tape carrier, wherein each semiconductor device has a circuit pattern and a semiconductor component, and wherein each semiconductor device has a hole or a mark, which is located in a default area surrounded by the profile of the semiconductor device; and, by dicing the die to cut the profile into multiple segments, and the hole penetrates through the tape carrier to indicate that the semiconductor device has no defect, and the mark does not penetrate through the tape carrier to indicate that the semiconductor has some defects.
